High Street, Steyning
This project removes an unsightly and poorly designed 1980’s extension with a flat, leaky roof from the rear of this four storey character property on Steyning High Street and replaces it with a high quality, more sympathetically designed vaulted extension, in order to vastly improve the living space and connection with the garden.
We initially proposed three designs to the client, with our (and their) preferred option being taken to planning. The design utilises a dark grey brick with sharp detailing.
The house sits in the Steyning Conservation Area and is also in close proximity to several Listed Buildings.
We worked closely with the planning and conservation team to secure planning permission at delegated powers.
The project is now close to completion on site and we will share completed photos when ready.
